Work in Progress Project – about 45% Complete
ATTAIN was engaged by Woollam to complete this large carpark extension to the Lakes College. Whilst predominately a civil project there were a couple of other elements to the project requiring works by other trades to ensurethe carpark could be built as per design.
ATTAINs scope of work involved all demolition works (existing concrete pavements, stormwater and drainage structures), bulk earthworks, retaining wall backfill, stormwater, pavement construction, kerbs, aspahlt, line marking, signage, and all landscaping works.
The carpark itself is over 1400 sqm with an additional 120m long dual access road built to gain access to the new carpark. Elements of the pavement design required in-field design works and construction of protection systems over existing high voltage electrical infrastructure.
The stormwater works required extension and realignment of existing school infrastructure as well as the installation of a humeceptor as part of the new drainage associated with the carpark.
