ATTAIN completed all site clearing works, bulk excavations, civil stormwater, detailed excavations, retaining wall backfill, detention tank excavations and general site works support.
This project had to work very closely with the builder on sequencing and design related issued to ensure the safe coordination of excavation works and retaining wall construction for a more than 6m deep excavation into the side of a hill in Moffat Beach. There was more than 2000m3 of cut materials predominately in rock that had to be remove from site. The site was also within a fire ant zone requiring appropriate management controls. The civil stormwater component was predominately external works as part of the operational works approvals for the project and involved installation of over 40 lineal metres of box culvert beneath the kerb line of the existing road. ATTAIN completed all the demolition works, roadside gully unit installations, culvert installation, kerb, asphalt and footpath reinstatements to Sunshine Council requirements.
